He has extremely fine, chestnut colored, heavily crimped, soft fiber baby fleece of 18.2 micron count from head to toe. In any event, Vick and I process our own fiber here on our farm, running it through our picker, then across the carding machine or perhaps we will card it by hand. It then becomes bats, which Vick then hand dyes with all natural dyes. Next, she will turn those pretty bats into beautiful spun yarn like you see on the left.
